I can't find the initial tracking for amazing spiderman 2, but the week of release expectations across various industry sites were that it would open over Winter Soldier's $95m, so it's in the same ballpark. Based on that I think homecoming will require good reviews to open significantly above ASM2's level.

How my theater looks today:

Cars:

10:30: 93/124

11:45 3D: 29/78

1:15: 76/124

2:30 3D: 20/78

4:00: 40/124

5:15 3D: 6/78

6:45: 43/124

8:00 3D: 14/78

9:30: 2/78

10:45 3D: 0/78

I swear that when I first saw this, I thought you were giving us a parking lot report, and I was trying to decipher the numbers.  Out of X number of parking spaces?

Thank you @aabattery and @YourMother.  Transformers is tracking way worse than Pirates. if it does not outperform it, its looking like a epic disaster(like 130-140m finish). Spidey is also low but I am sure it will go up from this number. But I am not sure it will make 300m+ unless it has super strong reviews. its surprising we dont have tracking for DM3 though its opening a week before Spidey.

Won't be surprised at all if All Eyez is closer to 3M for Thursday than 2. Cars I'm going to guess 1.7-2.2 and and Rough Night around 800k.

I guess we'll see in the morning.

Not the worst predictions I guess :) except maybe cars

Like most superhero movies outside of Wonder Woman, Homecoming is especially strong with young males right now, “but strong across the board” according to one rival studio box office guru. We’re hearing that the movie truly stokes families.

key word: families. Remember what happened to GOGT2 and WW :redcapes:

Wonder Woman still doing well here. 2 sell outs, the 7:10pm probably will as well.

Cars 3 @ 6:10pm is probably 95% sold, 7:05 3D ~70% sold; All Eyez on Me 7pm 70% sold in tiny auditorium; nothing all that interesting to report on the other two.

How is that compared to last Friday? Referring to WW.

I'd have to look back at my previous post here (I think I mentioned it) but IIRC last Friday probably had one or two more sell outs. Still impressive since these showings are in this theaters larger auditoriums.

2. Wonder Woman 20.6%

3. All Eyez On Me 19.6%

4. The Mummy 3.7%

5. Rough Night 3.5%

Rough Night showing up on MT Friday morning. It's really looking like a low teens OW is where it's headed. I wouldn't be shocked though if it just misses $10M though.

Movie Tickets (9:35AM, PST):

1. Cars 32.5%

2. Wonder Woman 23.0%

3. All Eyez On Me 16.2%
