Anybody here tracking sales for Licorice Pizza?

Really tracking sales for pretty much everything at my most frequented theater but it's already sold 60-something seats all day Christmas across its first three shows in a 50-seat auditorium (the last show so far hasn't sold anything) so those are certain to sell out. If it does well enough I imagine it'll be upgraded to a bigger theater.

SM:NWH is looking at ~40% drop at Alpha for Monday.

So from 52% PS hold to ~60% gross hold, a 15% PSm increase right in line with expectations. Canada also held well per @DAJK. Beta, gamma, small+indie will have the worse drops but overall this should be more like EC's num than gitesh's.

Not a terrible result, though I wish it could've gotten something closer to $15 million. However, judging by other trackers, this seems on par with expectations, so it should very well meet that range.

:ohmygod: Well... I certainly know for a fact, based on where others are tracking, that it definitely won't reach that amount. Perhaps this is only reflective of my Cinemark, but I certainly think this speaks to how much potential this has to become a beast over the holiday season. Considering how lackluster animated kids' films have performed at the box office this year, this feels like a perfect storm for one to finally make gangbusters (at least, against the Covid curve).

Sing 2 is gonna really benefit not only from being the major kids movie of the holidays but being the #2 option for families that are either sold out from Spider-Man or have already seen it and are looking for another movie to see over the break. Helps that everything else is either rated R and/or aimed at a more mature audience. If the ceiling for animated movies during the pandemic era wasn't so low still I don't think it would see much of a drop-off from the first movie.

1 more day of PS left. Let us see where it ends up.

ATP is holding better than I expected. Probably 99K final pre-sales, leading to 165-175K final.

MTC1 final may be $2.3M range, for $8.5M OD.

When you think we’ll start seeing Scream tracking.

There’s some posts from trackers already on the previous pages. Basically it’s too early to tell, since horrors don’t usually go on sale so far in advance.
