Everything Everything will likely be quite frontloaded.

I don't think so, Me Before You want extremely frontloaded and I expect this to play like a smaller version of that

Everything Everything reminds me more of Paper Towns than Me Before You. I'll be surprised if there's anyone outside its target audience of teen girls that is considering seeing it.

Possibly. It could also perform like If I Stay, which wasnt that frontloaded either. hard to predict these YA films.

Me Before You was surprisingly huge. $208m worldwide for that kind of movie is amazing. If Everything, Everything makes even a fifth of that it'll be in great shape.

Sorry, but this means that everything has sold 2 out of 78 seats for 5 pm show?

Thanks!

Alien will probably open closer to 50m than 40m. Should have solid previews for sure.

Not concerned about the International numbers?

There are more clear signs through presales. Since there is a big movie on the market(Guardians), its easy to compare. It could little bit from Prometheus but not as much as what few OS numbers are saying.

I'm trying to experiment with using the system I have at my theatre and applying it to different theatres (just using different numbers). So right now I'm looking at the pre-sales of a theatre in Ottawa Canada (not sure why I chose it... just to be the guinea pig I guess) and am going to try using its reserved seating feature to see how many tickets it sells for the openers tonight, and try to predict the Thursday numbers for Alien.

I have to admit, I may be way off. The only data I used to come up with the system for this theatre are Snatched and King Arthur's sales last week. So I may be wayyyy off. Oh well :)

40m+ look good, Edge of tomorrow did only 28m, should reach 100m if it open that well.
