Ghostbusters Afterlife Friday final

MTC1 - 165360/844814 2451269.68 4515 shows

MTC2 - 169967/756191 1921947.61 4951 shows

Meh walkups especially at MTC1. MTC2 did pick up some of the slack. I would guess 11m true friday(lower than what Charlie said). Hope I am wrong 😞

Anyway I will take a break from tracking until you know what PS start. it should be really interesting considering the short PS window.

Seem like GB is doing worse than NTTD for its friday. NTTD at least score some 2.7x from preview.

Pretty big drops for Encanto and Resident Evil. Not too surprising though since Friday sales are not usually great and the T-3 comparisons are normally Sunday sales.  Should pick up quickly over the next couple of days.

Encanto getting Moana level Tuesday previews would be pretty good right?

I'll be honest I kinda wrote its performance off seeing how animated films have done this year.

2.6M previews would probably lead to like a 65M 5-Day, assuming things are way more frontloaded compared to 2016/2017. Don't know if Encanto's previews will go that high, but that would basically be the biggest kids title since Space Jam 2.

Any guesses on House of Gucci 5-Day?

As for No Way Home, I think Endgame 24 hours i.e. $40M+ is not even thought worthy. But TRoS ~$18M 24 hours seems big as well.

Far From Home barely had $3M+ 24 hours. Eternals almost hit that so...

The run is short but not too short either. 20 days is far enough.

Guess $10M target will be good. Need $4M MTC 1, $2M MTC 2 may be.

So, to keep Xmas expectations for every movie but Spidey down...

As I mentioned before, both my Cinemarks (12s) have only single screened Sing 2 so far.

They now have also pre-booked King's Man (although no selling yet) - this one is also gonna only be single screened for now...so be aware (although both theaters have booked both, so that's good:)...
