What's up with these? These are some ridiculous numbers.

If they follow the normal trend here, would be equivalent of $40m+ Thu.

Are there any MTC 1 or 2 figures from anybody to confirm what the Thursday will be or is this just an anomaly?

I guess Mormons just love to go to the theaters on Thanksgiving 😛

Safe to say it will not follow normal trend, but still probably gonna be a huge mega overindex. I am skeptical of bugs as an explanation because the other days looks fairly within reason, but special bookings quite possibly?

There gotta be some error or some special bookings.

That shall deflate our prediction if it is overperforming in one key region, but @Menor did say that in general THU is less than WED, I suppose that may be before UTAH came up in his check.

Idk comps for Thanksgiving.

Couple notes. There was a big show burst today, which inflates the comp jumps a bit, though I think it would've been a good day anyway. Also, re: Thanksgiving, it was on pace for 19-20k midway through the run, I think Utah gave it a big boost, maybe some other regions as well, haven't looked too closely. Anyway I think Thanksgiving Day will overindex in MTC2 though not as much as in Mega.

Encanto and House of Gucci are equally strong for tomorrow night (although obviously the former will prevail over long weekend since it won't be as frontloaded, is playing on more screens, and is an hour shorter). The latter should at least hit high teens for the 5-day, if not $20M+.

The biggest opening for an adult drama in the COVID era is still Respect with just below $9M. Gucci should surpass that even over the 3-day portion with the sales it's having.

2M previews indicate a 15M 3day in normal time I would think for a normal weekend. Maybe thanksgiving changes that multiplier but 2M should be enough for a 20 to 25 5day if the preview number holds. Looking at the show count for previews its a lot less than Resident Evil so it should have a decent multiplier.

Just about all these previews would be pretty good, though I don't know if it's just an overperformance or not. Crossing my fingers here of course.

Not really much else to say, it's in line with Coco/Moana numbers, and that's a good starting point. I don't have anything else to add to be frank.
