I'd imagine they'd do at a handful of book inspired seasons and then if it's still going potentially dig into the games.

Geralt is a decent bit younger in the books I believe.

Looks really bad imo. The wig is horrible. Looks like Legolas’s ugly older brother. 

 

But this is a screen test so I am sure they will fine tune this further and improve upon it even more in post production.
