Sony is the same company that commissioned the Spider-Man Homecoming theatrical one-sheet, the single worst poster for a big budget tentpole in the last 5 years, so are we really that surprised that this film is having shitty posters too?

That said, this is gonna make bank as long as they don't fuck up the trailer. $200m dom is the floor imo

Pitt looks like he's more or less back in Aldo Raine mode. Di Caprio's final bit is pretty great. Nothing revelatory otherwise really. Gonna wait for the Cannes reactions.

I think the Charles Manson setting might be too uncomfortable for some of the steeper movie hardliners who went out to The Revenant, but it could still open to around 3/4 of The Revenant

It would be cool (tho not great for its box office prospects but whatever) if this continued in the vein of Hateful Eight and went bleaker than everyone expects, behaving as a fun romp for a while then pulling the rug out. Obviously the Manson murders are already part of the movie and I can't imagine Tarantino treating them lightly, so the seeds are there.

It has blind folowers that will adore everything he does, no matter what.

I will definitely see it and i'm excited for it, but is it just me or is thins gonna be the same movie as Basterds, Django. Just with different characters....
