I didn’t even realise Tessa was in Annihilation and I watched it last week on Netflix. 

 

*shrugs*. 

 

A comedy actress would’ve been a great choice. Unless they want the sole female character to play the “straight guy” role to Chris’s zany character.

Just had a look at the adjusted numbers for the franchise and it's not looking good for this.

How do you figure that?

If you're going by drops by sequel - 200M drop, then 100M drop. Those are 50% drops - MIB 4 will therefore do 150M.

Alternatively, the drop decreases by 100M flat each time, so MIB 4 will drop by 0M and gross 200M.

 

Think your maths needs some work buddy!

Literally the same logic was used for Spider-man Homecoming...I think this reboot will flop but not because of the trend of the franchise..

What Janelle Monae needs to get is a full-on musical movie to shine. In an ideal world, she would star in a Metropolis inspired musical set in afro-futurist Atlanta based on her concept album directed by Hype Williams. Janelle Monae needs her Purple Rain.
