I think you can find him on the Joe Rogan Experience talking about his Enforced Monogamy idea and Joe Rogan called out Peterson for preaching 'sexual Marxism' and Peterson realized he scored on own goal on himself. 

 

Also he goes after a group routinely called "post modern Marxists" however the progressives types are not really Marxists and usually have more mainstream left wing view points. A lot of Marxists dont really subscribe to identity politics as much.  

 

However most of his stuff around Self Help i think is not very controversial at all and is mostly common sense.

I think that is true for a  ton of people from all sides of that spectrum that have moved from their respective fields of expertise to become political commentators 😊

 

I think his appeal is that while he may be wrong on things, he is still quite highly intelligent and most importantly he can 'sound' very intelligent as he has a very direct forceful style of speaking. 

 

It reminds of what Niel De Grass Tyson said that public debate is not a place to figure out who is right or wrong as the winner of a debate is always who sounds best.

As cigarettes smoking went down in certain countries among the youth, destructive binge drinking and alcolohism skyrotetted among the youth.

never smoked in my life but it does indeed look cool as hell in the movies. though i've never looked at a smoker in real life and said "damn that guy looks badass". they look like shit irl. it's probably just because hot people smoke in movies and since it's not in vogue hot people don't smoke anymore idk.
