I think the showing of the trasnformation largely contributed. I remember the first trailer being hated and it has only 18M views.

Meh, I disagree with a lot of people. I really wanted to hate this film but I thought the trailer looked fantastic and if this is succesfull Sony will make a morbius film so I feel that it is my duty to support it.

I don't get the appeal of Morbius. He is just a standard issue Vampire, not interesting as a villain at all.

Venom's trailer has 1.3M likes, it's an incredible number. That Power Ranger's trailer has 175k likes.

 

The difference is massive and that's how you know which one had a much better reception and generates much more interest than the other. If you go back a few pages you'll see a post of mine analyzing that with a few more examples.

 

The interesting thing is that Power Rangers actually opened to a respectable 40.3M OW.
