That's not the issue.  Of course everyone has the right to be disappointed it dropped 66%, I am disappointed as well.  But there's a difference between expressing disappointment and poisoning the well by saying the franchise is dead and toxic and so on.

No, he doesn't. DP is making good money on a relatively low budget and as long as this will be the case, the franchise will go on.

 

To state the DP franchise is finished because DP2 won't make 300 dom is as false as to say Disney will stop making SW sidestory movies because Solo won't make 300 dom.
