The Grinch's Friday reported is $7,104,862. Full day would be $11.5mn. FSS $29mn

Am also thinking 29 FSS with that Fri.

25% drop in face of WIR2 is great. Trolls dropped 39% same weekend when Moana opened.

28 would be 55% weekend drop, similar to JL's 56% same weekend.

FB2 will be on 115.5 with 28 weekend.

JL added only 1.39x the 2nd weekend to it's cume.

FB1 had added 1.7-1.8x more after a 39% drop.

If FB2 adds 1.5*28 = 42 more, it gets to 157.5

Very similar to DOFP (234) to APOC (155) drop.

With same Friday Grinch should beat FB2. Sat could be close but Sun will be better for Grinch.

@Charlie Jatinder THANKS FOR THE NUMBERS!

Creed 2 reported numbers $7,206,279. Full day would be $12.5mn Approx,  a rather okayish jump of 35%. FSS would be $31mn at this pace and $51mn 5 days.

That would be a horrible number for Creed. Not even @Rthanos number around 14 enough IMO.

I expected around 16-17 mill

Not much above Creed1's 11.7m.

Creed1 did 2.61x the 5-day weekend. If Creed2 does 2.35x, gets to 120+ dom with 51-52 5-day.

21.5 is below Moana. @That One Guy‘s club looks to live (until December).

Moana Dom was 3.03x it's 5-day and Coco's Dom was 2.88x.

Using 85-86 5-day WIR2 needs 2.91-2.94x to get 250 Dom. Just looking at it's previews and some front-loading compared to these films I think it's far fetched. 2.7x gives 230-232 dom.

Ralph should’ve sticked to that March 2018 release where competition isn’t this massive.

You say that as if the movie isn't doing great   Its 3-day is undoubtedly going to increase from the 49M of WIR1, and its 5-day will be the 2nd or 3rd biggest for animation in Thanksgiving history. It will definitely cross 200M DOM as well, when WIR1 made 189M. But ohh, it's frontloaded, so it's doing awful. No shit Sherlock, it's obviously more frontloaded than Moana, Coco or what have you, cause it's a sequel. Just because Zootopia came out in March and made 300M+, doesn't mean everything would perform the same there. Zootopia was an absolute perfect storm. Yeah, Ralph wouldn't have had the same competition there, but it's still a sequel, so who knows if it hadn't been a little frontloaded anyway.
