ah,

That’s going to be really triggering to me when I look at the Blu Ray’s on my shelf…

I sort of get it though, doing the whole Part 1/2 thing was a mistake, especially now that it’s going to be two years between films and the fact that the ending wasn’t THAT big of a cliffhanger anyway.

TGM was a massive hit, so now two MI films are having the worst luck in the world with going overbudget and delays caused by covid and strikes. This is just the universe balancing things out.

Tom must be being tested by a cruel Scientology god.

God here we go again with the it underperformed because people are either tired of the franchise or did  not like the movie choosing to ignore the Positive audience metrics from CS, IMBD, and Rotten Tomatoes, Ignoring the bad scheduling killing it's legs and once it it got too it's 4th weekend or so  it stabalized a little.

It might have gotten great reviews, but the general public didn't like it much. It felt boring and a big step down from previous entry.

There is no real evidence backing that up, but I kinda believe it

I did, but 2 people I know really did not like it
