It had inexplicably excellent legs and made a ton of money.  It makes sense that they'd try and jump on those coattails more than their Snow White movie even if it doesn't have Jolie.  The same way they made a prequel/sequel and managed to have "Elsa" in it to try and draft off Frozen. B)

I'm ROFL at some of you suddenly acting like no other movie in the history of cinema has used the "from the Producers/Director of ______" tag before.

Reading some of your posts you'd think it was an entirely new marketing concept.

 

Find something else to criticize if you don't like what you've seen. That marketing line as your point of attack makes you seem like a box office noob and some of you DO know better which is even more humorous.

Truth. Been done for years and years. Sisters was "From a Producer of Meet the Parents" two months ago.

Actually, I just figured out that it was released on February 11th which was 2 weeks ago. But, Why was the poster released online after the trailer ? :huh: I thought that the posters for movies always come out online first :blink:.
