It actually sucks that NWH is so hyped. It's box office will never be able to reach it's full potential, which after the bonkers interest the trailer generated I'm convinced would come in around TFA numbers globally (obviously domestic numbers could be $200-300m less but OS numbers would even it out).

Right now I could see any numbers from $700m - $1.5B.

Depends on how passionate talent working is. This movie is shot by award winning cinematographer but even he can't do anything if Director is a hack.

I fear for F4 :raining:

Nah, F4 needs a well received movie badly and Watts will easily provide that. The look of NWH will be perfectly fine for F4.

The bar is so low after the previous FF films, it be can be “fine” and be received as a MVP.

Old Spider-Man movies are topping rental charts after the trailer.  Sony is probably really happy about this partnership with MCU right now.

MCU binge watching is getting out of control lol

When it comes to the 'Fantastic Four' the bar for success after the last movie is so low its literally in hell. The only thing they have to do is get the casting right

The discourse it will be when John and Emily are not cast. :stretcher:

People have accepted them in the role

They saw that one fan art and don't know how to act. I hope i'm online when the casting is reported so I can see the meltdowns. I do think people should be prepared that marvel isn't gonna cast an all white Fantastic four lol

To be fair the relative lack of blockbuster releases in the last couple of years has probably increased hype for this, so covid's worked both ways. I know I'm a lot more excited for Bond than I would have been otherwise.
