I'm fucking stunned. I thought people were god damn fools for thinking Parasite had a chance in hell of winning Best Picture and the academy would surely play it safe and give it to 1917.

Sam Mendes must be pissed.  Having seen Parasite, it's certainly deserving of Best Picture.

I’m a little pissed that I didn’t get to actually see Parasite announced as the winner, but this is so damn cool! An enormously deserving winner, and the best one of the decade for my money.

OUATIH won two awards though (including an acting win). The only real "loser" of the night is The Irishman, which is now officially the biggest Oscar loser since American Hustle.

I'm honestly more happy that Mendes didn't win than that Parasite won (although I'm really happy with Parasite winning too).

Paraiste won Best Picture.  Renee won Best Actress.  Elton and Bernie won Best Song.  Irishman and ScarJo won nothing.  Terrible show, Oscar Producers, but those results are AMAZING.
