Jeez, no one is even paying attention to the rest of the ceremony. The Oscars are going viral, but not in the way they had hoped. It’s unfortunate.

Seems like an insanely scripted moment designed for social media impressions. 

 

The Academy award crew is quite something, it took a while for them to get Smith walking to the stage but they had a lot of time to do so:

 

 

If it was staged, brilliant/genius acting by Chris Rock, extremely realist (one would not imagine in advance that one would react like that) and the crew (removing the sound and so on), would be impressive.

Nah, there will be apologies and the promise of no more digs at Jada by the end of tomorrow and it'll all be good. The slap is gonna be a constantly used gif going forward though lol.

Can't help but compare Mila Kunis's dignified statment about Ukraine, with Sean Penn's hysteric Theatrics which seem to be not so much about Ukraine and more about Penn's ego.

The way Campion looked at Will Smith while walking to the stage made me think she was scared he would go off on her for insulting the Williams sisters.

If they cut those categories for a particular reason, it clearly wasn't time. This ceremony isn't even close to over yet.
