Lots of that movie is excellent. Plus it was maybe the best 3D experience I’ve ever had in the theatre.

overall, it had problems - but it is not even close to being awful.

Hadn't watched the alien franchise till the lockdown.

Watched the first two which I liked

Saw reviews for 3 and onwards and was like  nah will stop right there  when they are still good

Yeah any subreddit based on media is a no go for the most part but good subreddits can be found.

But nothing is as bad as twitter ,it's a centre for lots of toxicity and some  of the most brain dead takes I've seen. Couldn't last a year.

I like twitter as well. Follow people i want to ignore the noise from the rest. I am annoyed by folks who have to meme around all the time. i just block them to avoid the noise. Ultimately every social media can be good or bad based on what you take out of it. Its within your control to see whom/what to follow or not.

Should pretty easily set a new high mark for 2nd Wednesday  and maybe 2nd Thursday as well

Do you all think Thursday could be 10m.

Until now only 6 movies had their first two sets of weekdays above 10m

TFA (all above 22.9m)

NWH (all above 20m, only the 2nd Friday (Christmas Eve) was slightly below 20m)

TLJ (all above 16.8m)

Rouge One (all above 14.9m)

Avatar (all above 11m - first Thursday was Christmas Eve , next lowest day New Years eve 2nd Thursday with over 14m)

and (honestly was shocked):

Incredibles 2, it's 2nd Thursday was 10,020,390, so barely above.

5 Christmas movies and one summer movie.

Wouldn't say its quire say its assured, even from a Wednesday over $12M, given that it's losing 3/4s of its PLF shows for Thursday, but very possible

Just curious, where do you see TGM ending up on Thursday?

If I was betting (and presuming Wed ends up in mid $12s), I’d take over $10M, but not by all that much. The average in Oct, when we had 4 IMAX/PLF releases in a row, was about -13% Thur. Penciling in a ~15% Wed to Thur drop, but like 5% higher or lower wouldn’t surprise me

Is this your prediction or did you get it from a reliable source?

I’ve got ComScore+, shows you tomorrow’s nums. Totally legit, pinky promise. Look no further.
