its walkups were not as good as what I expected. Not even close. I dont have full MTC2 data but its looking like 6.5m ish from that as well. Probably bumping down OW to mid to high 40s OW.

I read alien budget is 70M. A 45-50M debut would be good anyways.

45m from Romulus is a very good start. Just a couple of weeks ago I was expecting 32-37 million OW.

The good reviews and decent WOM should push it to 110m DOM at least. Which is very good considering it's 85m budget.

A few points:

 

-Growth is steady. The needle has moved daily in small increments. 

 

-Comps are a mess. Bad Boys and Ghostbusters only came online today. Those numbers will settle in the days ahead, but still will be favorable for Beetlejuice.

 

-Im using $6.5M for Romulus until we get confirmed actuals. It's a film that appears to have overindexed here, so helps moderate things a bit.

 

-This still exceeds comps I throw at it. I'm debating at throwing Dune 2 in there just to give it something it'll struggle against, but it seems far too different.

 

-Other options like GxK and HG: BoSS come online in about a week. I may try those.
