Zero interest in the reviews because I won't read any, but I can't wait for Friday!!

I agree with this one hundred percent. I'm going in completely blind and completely Bill informed. I don't want to know what anyone thinks I don't want to know what anyone has seen I don't want anyone's opinion LOL.

That's my take as well.  I don't even need to know what Bill thinks either :P

But yes, I don't care about reactions or reviews,  as usual, but especially for this movie

I've gotta admit there's a small part of me hoping this flops or at least does mediocre numbers just for the schadenfreude, with all the trade publications having been declaring it the savior of the box office for months and months now.

I guess I'm biased though. Nothing against King, but the trailers make me giggle (I just CANNOT find clowns scary) and I was pretty disappointed with Mama.

I think openly admitting to being petty is better than secretly being petty. Plenty were hoping Wonder Woman would fail based on pettiness and that didn't work. You continue hoping!

I'm actually going to see this anyway though because my mother loved the TV movie and really, really wants to see this one. So I'm taking her to it. I'll just have to try not to chuckle through the whole thing while sitting next to her.

I find all horrors to be rather silly, but my wife loves them so I go with her. Even if I'm rolling my eyes during the movie, it's not disturbing others. And even when I find the jump-scares and concepts to be lame, I still find it annoying when others in the theaters need to verbally comment how stupid it is. If you don't want to watch it, don't go. If you're going there for the benefit of another, have the decency to respect their experience and furthermore respect the rest of the audience as a whole. Even if you can't directly enjoy the experience, you can still benefit from the enjoyment of others. I appreciate that you will at least attempt to keep the chuckling at a minimal, and who knows...maybe chuckling will be appropriate at certain points in this movie.
