Incredilbes is animation so I am not counting it.

This is a great date change. August has so many movies trying to get screen space, so even if this did well there, its TC would be impacted.

same here. I don't know what exactly are critics looking for in a Predator film? They are enjoyable B movie rides. None of the sequels/avp has come close to the original, but to expect that is kinda crazy. You can only do so much with an alien with dreadlocks. 

 

This one though....Shane Black has bitten more than he can chew. Predators fans will absolutely HATE this film. This was anyways a paycheck movie for him so that he can get some of his passion projects off the ground but if this bombs...80M budget folks.

Man....if I reveal anything, it will go into spoiler territory. The whole plot and things certain characters do...will piss off hardcore Predator fans and even casuals might roll their eyes. 

 

Oh and I think one of the human lead characters will be completely deleted from the movie OR replaced by someone else in the reshoots...not 100% sure whether it's this project or a different fox project...depends on how much cash fox wants to waste.

I like this new release date. This was concerningly close to similarly bombastic action films such as The Meg, Scarface, and (potentially) Captive State. So I think the change to September should be beneficial in the long run.
