Speaking of release dates, Fox also said today that the long-delayed threequel, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, has moved up two weeks and now will open wide on January 26.

it's the last book in the main storyline

 

 

there are some prequel books but those likely won't be adapted

 

 

I can see the director and producers adapting another series next. The producer especially has had a lot of success in the YA genre

lmaooo I just remembered that they didn't even bother to release a teaser for Kingsman.  Red Sparrow got a trailer but not this.

They need to start marketing this! Kingman would've been a perfect time to get the ball rolling! They're running out of opportunities!

This movie isn't going to do well, I don't blame Fox for not wasting too much money promoting it.

Yeah, even though this movie got pushed back for reasons beyond their control, The Scorch Trials decreased by a significant amount when everyone expected it to at least stay flat and the YA genre has completely collapsed since. Fox knows they don't have an event here.

Just like Everyone is expecting Kingsman 2 to do better than Kingsman. History will repeat.

I though the first one was good, the second was a big disapointment. I may catch this but I am not hyped at all.

Looking back at the performance's of the last too, they were quite impressive.

The first one did x10 it's budget and the second one x5.

Not shabby at all. I expect this to drop though. $250m WW feels right and If they keep the budget at the same levels they should be fine.

Everyone wants it over and done with because of the accident.  So Fox is just going to let this one run its course.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean be a money loser? Unlikely I feel if they keep the budget reasonable like the first two

I think this is debuting with Blade Runner. Get it? Blade Runner? Maze Runner? You could mix them and call it Blaze Runner. Or even Made Runner.
