JW is only $6.4M behind Titanic for the 3rd domestic all-time. Wonder if they'll use the release of JW2 to do some double features and if it could be enough to close that gap.

It depends on Universal giving the Jurassic World-re-release a bit wider theater count and a longer run.

I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

Really can't wait for this. This movie's box office is going to be nearly impossible to predict.

Will it? JW may have been shit (I'm contractually obligated to say that every time I mention it) but there's no reason to think the next movie's box office will veer much in either direction at this point.

You know?? I realize JURASSIC WORLD had some implausibilities in the movie and all, but how anyone can honestly say this movie was shit didn't watch the same movie I did as well as others.. It was actually pretty entertaining if you didn't go into the movie with an axe to grind..

Come on BKB, you're a great guy and I love you to bits but you would be the very first to admit your taste in movies is generally terrible. That you liked JW is perhaps the worst indictment it can possibly receive. :cheekkiss:

Jeff Goldblum is returning to the land of dinosaurs. The actor, who co-starred in 1993's Jurassic Park and 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will appear in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s next Jurassic World film.
