SW will have many chances in future. This might be the last time that Marvel film is the highest grossing film of year.

Thread starter got already pinged for that, seem to not react The main reason I do not start film threads is: I am usually not sure to be here enough for title updates and as such wont start any of those kind of threads

This might be the last time that Marvel film is the highest grossing film of year. Episodes won't be trounced but spin-offs obviously will be. OS markets know that spin-offs are not important for the main story and could be skipped. Now, if they start doing spin-offs that tie in with the main Star wars than they could raise the interest. Maybe.
Daxtreme
Rogue One is aiming for #2 WW, and a #1 domestic finish for the year. Great performance if you ask me!
Valonqar
Expected performance. Most people pegged it for around half of what TFA made worldwide and it did. No more no less. Solid.

Lordmandeep
It will finish around 1.035 billion I think

George Parr
I'd definately expect a total above 1.04b, more likely somewhere in the range of 1.045b or 1.05b. Domestically it should finish at the very least close to Dark Knight, which is another 20m or so. Add just 10m internationally and you are already over 1.04b. Seeing how it made more money internationally than domestically this weekend, I don't see how it could do less than half the rest of the way, so that number is probably closer to 15m, maybe more. That would put it at over 1.045b already. If the domestic total somehow ends up closer to 540m than 530m, it should top 1.05b.
