Korea number will go down. its seems huge WTF number considering what we heard about this movie. That said its going to do better overseas than what I thought earlier this week(400 ish). Now if Europe does ok numbers this could go 500m+ overseas.

i dont know how it happened, but this movie's trailers have been quietly great 

we all spent too much time worrying about vieweranon's opinion on an ending that is forced instead of stupid

My personal top 3 of the series goes F7>F5>F9. I don't think this measures up to that, it's too unwieldy with characters and plot threads (this family is getting way too big lol), but it's very entertaining and fun.

This movie is 100% a money loser to the studio. I think the best scenario is losing less money than expected. Universal should be glad they're getting a big profit from Mario movie.

 

It has a budget of 340 million plus whatever they spent for marketing  promotion.
