The third BvS trailer (the one that showed Doomsday) was pretty controversial, so the final trailer might have been an attempt to regain some goodwill.

BVS had a horrible teaser, an EPIC GOAT comic con trailer, a weird, awkward trailer 3, than an awesome action oriented trailer 4.

 

The comic con trailer hogged all the views.

I would say this is all Warner Bros. and ROCK.   

 

I continue to think people overestimate how much control, if any, anyone working for "DC Films" -- or whatever they're calling themselves right now -- has over production, but especially how little they control over marketing... I'm sure Hamada "consults"...but he he can't control...as evidenced by the fact that he was ENTIRELY blindsided/not told about shelving BATGIRL.  He wasn't even in on the conversation!  And if anything, THE ROCK likely has the deciding decision on most of this project, obviously...
