In THG, when we got introduced to Katniss, you saw things through her pov, experienced the games through her explorations. I found that much more memorable and better than in CF where she was a passive participant, and basically was kept in the dark the whole time, with all events that happening manipulated by other characters. Sure, the games were grandeur and more elaborate in CF, but I personally didn't find them all that exciting. Especially couple with the soapy love triangle aspect.
misafeco
Glad to see THG in the top 10. It was my #2. Now let's hope neither TDKR or Avengers win this thing.

But then I wasn't expecting Barbara or Searching for Sugarman to make the list. We got Barbara all the way to 51 which I think is pretty cool actually. I would have thought it'd end up lower. 1 hour ago, The Stingray said: Had completely forgot about The Place Beyond the Pines. That was a good movie. It was also ineligible lmao you people. Despite the backlack it's gotten by the nitpickers of BOT, it's a thrill ride that I enjoy every time I rewatch the movie. Yup, it's the best Bond I've ever seen(no, I haven't seen many of the classics). It was in my top5. I'm fine with the list so far.

That One Girl
7 hours ago, grim22 said: #6 Reveal hidden contents Skyfall written by: Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan based on James Bond created by Ian Fleming directed by: Sam Mendes starring: Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench Number of first-place votes: 1 IMDB synopsis: Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. Whilst MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Bond’s 50th anniversary was celebrated in a big way by Skyfall. The movie itself is considered top-tier Bond now, especially the performance by Bardem as Silva. The marketing campaign for the movie was everywhere in 2012, including a high profile visibility event like The Olympics where Bond appeared alongside the Queen of England. The movie basically reset the Bond mythos at the end and brought it full circle and got us primed for future adventures (until Spectre came along). Special mention must be made of Roger Deakins who made the movie look amazing. In addition, Adele also won Best Song at the Oscars for the title track. Tomato meter: 93%, avg rating 8.2 Academy Awards: 5 nominations, 2 wins Random critic comment: Skyfall has fun playing with Bond's image, but the producers are wary of being too revisionistic. In fact, the film is good because it's such a stirring affirmation of the things 007 films have always done well. – Edward Lawrenson, The Big Issue Random RTM comment: One of the best Bond movies ever created. A – @Water Bottle I love the shit out of Skyfall. It's the movie that got me into movies. It will always hold a special place in my heart

narniadis
I figured Hope Springs (my #1) wouldn't make the list but it got higher than I figured it would. While I may not like what we are about to get as a top 5 it is also nice to see that we aren't nearly as stuck on being anti blockbusters as some groups are.
