I would imagine anypoint after this weekend. Havent seen anything and my Disney emails havent mentioned it from a consumer point of view, doubt it has more than 2 weeks which still means we are a week or so off.

I did the notification reminder for some movies on the AMC app of when tickets go on sale.

Yeah, I literally just got Cinemarks notification of the same 🤦‍♂️😂 I answered too fast apparently

So it looka like Sonic in Toronto isnt getting much imax/vip screening treatment. Mostly Just regular, not reserve seating. Ill still give whatever little i can for friday but i warn speculators dont expect much lol

 

Edit nope. Isnt worth it sadly. All shows in prestige screens either harley or star wars. Reg seats non reserved so no seat count and even odd avx i did find has no sales for friday. Toronto doesnt care for the furry guy i guess.

Forgot to give my Sonic stuff on Tuesday, due to school, nothing remarkable but it sold 12 tickets on Tuesday. I’ll track the film tonight though

Sonic isn't getting many Premium screens in Canada if any. Also wouldn't worry about Friday since this is a kids movie.

Hope onward does well on presales, i imagine it won’t be anything big because it’s an original animation and should be more walkup heavy, but a decent presales amount will be nice to see, hoping for $ 60M OW

most pixar and walt disney animation originals have 60-80 ow but monster legs , onward with 60 ow could hit 220-250

That would be awful for Onward. Let us see how PS goes. I will provide 1st update over the weekend as openers this week are interesting to track.

Both Onward are increasing on these numbers, if reviews are good, Onward will open closer to Zootopia, while The Invisible Man will open above $30m.

I feel like buzz for Onward has been on the low side by Disney/Pixar standards. Should still make some decent coin, but don't think many would be surprised if it ends up their lowest-grossing movie since the third Cars movie almost three years ago.

 

The Way Back shaping up to be another WB adult drama dud also seems entirely unsurprising.

Having seen the movie, I'm pretty it isn't a redesign but was marketing.
