TBH I am sitting here in India, don't really feeling that rush. For Endgame it was like fucking leave everything, book them now.

 

Also Homecoming pre-sales were lower than Cap Marvel, may be summer thing, so let's not set some crazy expectations.

Yeah. I feel like it could do similar numbers with a weaker opening. Link to End Game will help. Maybe 100-200ww more, that would be awesome.

That’s true. Also it’s 2 months until release. 

 

Endgame was 3 weeks before with pre sales. 

 

Im not the biggest Spider-Man fan besides original. So I don’t if trailer is good or not

Looking at Pikachu sales this weekend around here the afternoon shows are selling really well but the night shows aren't really selling anything at all. Reinforces the notion that it's gonna play like a family film and not as a franchise title.

Pikachu appears on MT, CM will be gone forever now. Expecting a FFH to knock something out by end of day, don’t know if that will be Pika or The Intruder.

I'm certainly not surprised since the only times I ever saw the trailer at the movies was before the family movies I've seen in the past 6 months.

IMO being a fan of the franchise and personally knowing people who are fans of Pokémon 

 

some people are still hesitant to watch a movie where pikachu is talking like a 40 year old. I do think WOM will help attract the fans though and they will be pleasantly surprised

Indeed. The reaction from sales to trailer views has been really strong. Impressive considering the movie is 2 months a way. I was hoping for 1 billion WW before today. Now I'm going for 1.15B and if it keeps up 1.25B WW.
