No, but it's still early...heck, none of the numbers are good...They Shall Not Grow Old is apparently not going to strike lightning, since it's tracking Miss Bala in presales...Dragon 3 should have a decent preview, but we'll see if it keeps momentum for 3 weeks (same for Lego, since it did well last weekend, but it's still pretty low for now)...

HTTYD is doing much better in previews than Lego.

But wasn't that one a Regal/AMC exclusive with most presales on Atom and not Fandango...plus, buying at the theater got you a $5 ticket (whereas prebuying cost full price)...so wouldn't the presales almost certainly be lower (and not all that helpful in comparison for the 2)...

Dragon sales are lower now, but they didn’t use to be despite being two weeks further away. This is ignoring all sneak peak showings

Pulse yesterday 8:35-8:49 EST:
Miss Bala: 6/15 minutes

Pulse yesterday 10:35-10:49 EST:
Miss Bala: 10/15 minutes - Serenity had 20/15 at that time, Hunter Killer 19/15

Pulse today always 8:35-8:49 EST:

They Shall Not Grow Old: 13/15
Miss Bala: 11/15 minutes - Serenity had 23/15 at that time, Hunter Killer 11/15, Spider's Web 32/15
How to Train Your Dragon 3: 50/15
Alita: 9/15

And Pulse today always 10:35-10:49 EST:

They Shall Not Grow Old: 40/15 - clearly in front of Miss Bala, but it's always in favor of a movie if it's already released so Idk how good this sales are
Miss Bala: 25/15 minutes - very muted so far, even Serenity had 31/15 at that time, Hunter Killer 24/15 (but a good Friday-jump), Spider's Web 42/14, it also stays behind Peppermint (Peppermint had relatively good presales before the reviews hurted it but probably the reviews for Miss Bala will also stay more negative)

How to Train Your Dragon 3: 80/15
Alita: 12/15

DreamWorks Animation’s first theatrical release during its second Universalera, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden Worldlanded on tracking this morning with a $40M-$45M stateside opening projection; solid with moms and dads. The movie opens on Feb. 22 and its only competition is MGM’s wide expansion of the Dwayne Johnson produced Fighting With My Family.

Here in the U.S./Canada, industry comps are pegged to Warner Bros. Feb. 8 release The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, which is also expected to do in the mid $40Ms.

A recent Variety article about Disney and its jump into streaming mentions that the acquisition is expected to close in March.
