@Tower I've seen PM. I like it a lot. It will problably still be in my top 5 once I'm done marathoning 1997.

 

@Ethan Hunt no, I haven't seen Gattaca, but I plan to after seeing all the movies I listed in my post.

 

I hear Tele is not a fan, so that is a pretty strong indicator that I should see it.

I always liked this movie, plus it is a reminder of the one time me and this girl kissed for the first time, so it has that going for it too

Breakdown is good shit. The way it turns into Mad Max: Deliverance Edition in the end is kinda goofy, but earned because up to that point it's just such a tight, exposition-free, well-constructed thriller. JT Walsh is fantastic in it.

In & Out: reminded me why I hate the these 90s comedies so damn much. Kevin Kline is fun, the rest? Not so much. Last 30 minutes are actually a torture to sit through. 3/10

 

Highball: enjoyable for dat Baumbach dialogue. Would recommend for fans of his work. 6/10

 

Mr. Jealousy: its first hour is a tad underwhelming, but once it gets going it's peak Baumbach. More of a real movie than Highball, too. "We all have our different ways of ruining thing" great line, great moment. 7/10
