Also, it wasn't finished in December, despite being rated PG-13 last summer, when they shot new scenes with Michael Keaton to allegedly rework scenes to clarify that his Toomes in Morbius is a variant in whichever universe of Spider-Man movies that Venom and Morbius take place in, which I think is the Andrew Garfield/Marc Webb Spider-Man universe.

 

It WAS finished...for a long time...but they clearly decided to add more.   And the rest of what you speak is all pure speculation, and frankly, should probably be under a spoiler-tag, just in case.

Never seen a movie because of its poster but Morbious will be the first. I'm so in for this! Those eyes hypnotized me into buying tickets.

 

Trailer is fun in trainwreck kind of way like Venom. Looking forward to this. Looks different from standard SH fare.
