Recommended Posts

Coco's weekend breakdown according to BOM:

Fri: $4.272 million

Sun: $5.765 million (-30.3%)

---------------------------------------

Total: $18.303 million (-33.5% from last weekend)

If Coco has another exceptional Sunday hold like last weekend, it's weekend actual could be closer to/hit $19M.

Jigsaw becomes the 6th horror film of 2017 to pass $100m worldwide.

Jigsaw, Happy Death Day, IT, Split, Get Out and Annabelle Creation.

Resident Evil, Alien did too but they play more like action/ sci-fi.

What a year for horror.

Somebody here would say "6 horror films a year? horror movie fatigue is coming"

This is sad to see that Wonder didn't hold better, through it is a success story, but seeing DH2 and murder on the.... hold even better, the hold of wonder just not too remarkable....that DH2's hold make it looks more like an A+ cinemascore movie.

Well it held better than your namesake! Holy shit Titanic tanked like the real boat in its second re-release weekend lol. I guess all 17 people who wanted to see it again rushed out to see it last weekend and only 2 of them returned this weekend :P So Wonder did fine, it’s all about perspective!

Considering how boring this weekend is, what are you guys predicting for next week?

That Rian Johnson joint: $225M

Event Film Ferdinand: $18M

205M vs 23M

I think the fact that TLJ is opening a week earlier with regards to school holidays can hurt opening weekend slightly. Maybe it's different in the states, but I'm pretty sure everywhere in BC is still in school until sometime next week, so Sunday would be able to play like a mini-saturday

well, If i told you tell wonder, opened to $27.5m, is going to be a monster-hit of $600m, would it sound realistic or magical?

titanic did that with $28m opening...

and no much movies can get 20th anniversary re-release, it must be an all time classic to have a fame, especially when titanic just got re-released 5 years back.....

Stop showing your moronic word, ill-behaved everywhere, you this stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder
