Yea not the only time I've seen that sentiment today. There's definitely a contingent on these very boards that's been saying that for months! Hint: it's the same dudes who were adamant that anything besides Arrival winning last year was a war by the pretentious SJWs. They're also the same dudes who are defending every new person accused in the Weinstein thread. I liked Dunkirk but not doing your movie any favors folks!

Too scared to say the mob leaders name?

I'll do it for you. I'm calling you out, @MrPink.

also i think they recognised the wrong call me by your name song here. the other one comes at the end of the film and is genuinely kinda emotionally impactful and the one they picked is an ok tune just kinda slapped on some random scene of them riding bikes or something.

So 538 made predictions of who would win the major awards based on their nominations/wins for other awards.

Best Actress could go to either McDormand, Ronan, or Hawkins.

Best Actor, they think Oldman is getting it.

Best Supporting Actor could go to either Rockwell or Dafoe.

Best Supporting Actress could go to either Janney or Metcalf.

Best Director is likely del Toro, but could go to Nolan.

Best Picture is either "The Shape of Water" or "Three Billboards"

Those would be all my guesses as well.

As far as ranking the best picture nominations:

1) The Shape Of Water
2) Lady Bird
3) Dunkirk
4) The Post
5) Darkest Hour
6) Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri
7) Get Out

8) Call Me By Your Name

Haven't seen Phantom Thread but think The Florida Project got snubbed here.

Trying to make yourself seem better than the mob, you mean.

I know your tricks. I see through your lies and deceptions.
