Not keen on Yesterday as a title, All You Need is Love worked better.

I'm rooting for this. I want a romantic comedy to be a hit, even if it'd only be a minor one.

 

The writer, Richard Curtis, has been responsible for some well-known films, such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually, About Time, Notting Hill, and War Horse. Plus, Danny Boyle is Danny Boyle. So I personally have reason to believe that this could be excellent.

This looks cute, I'll definitely watch it. Beatles nostalgia didn't really help Across the Universe much at the box office but this looks more mainstream and has Ed Sheeran I gues.

This movie is this year's A Star Is Born - only much more fun - so maybe this year's Bohemian Rhapsody (only that Danny Boyle is maybe the best director ever).

 

In an excellent movie year even so far - this easily makes Shay's Top 5. Absolutely stoked, my girlfriend will enjoy this, will be a great movie - and most probably a BO smash, like the two 2018 musicals the Shay quoted!

 

PS: Change the thread title FFS! This has a title - and a new premium release date in June.
