Hopefully not since he left handling Queen to focus more on Elton.  He was never fired by Queen.

Complete fantasy along with the solo album bullshit which was no big deal since others also did solo albums and Freddie's was the most successful.

There is a Bowie film in the works (Stardust), but they don't have the rights to use his music, or his family's approval.

When he was alive Bowie turned down directors who wanted to make that movie more than once. Which, good for him. There's no shortage of footage of him out there, anyway, why'd you ever wanna watch some asshole try and do an impression of him for two hours while some chunk of his life gets turned into a formulaic narrative?
