If AOU's sequel can do 2.5x+ after a much much bigger ow, AOU definitely had the potential for better legs than 2.40x and a higher dom than 460 (~2.6x would have given 500). Had no 'missed 200' complaints about it's ow, but it's legs surely were shaky. Similar things can be said of IM3 (2.34x) and CW (2.29x).

Can't see sub-95 for Rampage. 96 looks like the minimum.

PTA is pretty low, it'll start shedding theaters big time once Deadpool arrives. 95 seems about right.

I really like AOU but after our rewatch this last time the flaws as a film - not the least of which is the relentless bickering that foreshadowed CW - have become more evident. While Spader as Ultron continues to be great the rest of the film really does feel meh and like the stepping stone (ala Iron man 2) to the CW / BP / IW trio that was coming down the pipe. So much set up for down the road only led to overstuffing. It should have made it to 500m.

Could be worse. During Black Panther's terrific OW, most of the chatter was from some male members who whined about women not wanting to have sex with them. The Unfuckables went on for pages before the mods reined them in. And a good time was had by none.

I think they’re talking about the 4day Memorial Day weekend record which is held by Pirates 3 with 139.8m. It should easily set a new record for that weekend.
