Omni
70M more domestically 120M more OS-Jap 80M more Japan 30M more Italy Gives 1.635B. And the numbers above are not conservative at all. Jurassic World should be safe. Blame (or thank) the domestic legs for that. 2

peludo
The $33m Spain figure implies TLK is already the biggest film of the year over Endgame. And it enters in top 10 ever. It should still have enough fuel to outgross the 3 LOTR films and TFA, becoming the 3rd Hollywood film ever, just behind Avatar and Titanic. 1

Valonqar
yep, credit where credit's due, it's going to make over 1B without China when all is said and done.
Omni
OS-Ch it did on the high end of expectations. Some people thought 2B was possible, and it would have happened with a better result in NA and a breakout in China.
Cooper Legion
Yeah, going to be 7th WW it looks like but 6th OS-C. Avatar 1800 Titanic 1340 Endgame 1310 TFA 1B IW 993M TLK ~950? DH2 900 And then I think I think the next is swimming in the low-mid 800s? Would be jazzed to see F2 make it on here.

That has been the power of this brand. Meh film grossing so much money. If it had JB level of reviews/reception it would have grossed 2B WW. druv10
OS up 2.3M Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $473,103,826 35.4% + Foreign: $863,839,256 64.6% = Worldwide: $1,336,943,082 2
Taruseth
This is doing absolutely insane in the Netherlands it's at 4th place all time in € and will be 2nd after the following weekend only behind Titanic. This is a list of the 6 highest opening weekends ever and I tried to add other weekends that were high enough so now this list consist of 12 entries above 2.5M and 4 out of these are TLK!!!!! It's 4th weekend ist still the 11th best ever and would be the 6th highest opening weekend ever. #1: TLK: €4.672M #2: Endgame: €4.010M 2nd Wend TLK: €3.417M* #3: Spectre: €3.392M 2nd Wend Spectre: €3.078M #4: Skyfall: €2.962M 2nd Wend Skyfall: €2.875M 2nd Wend Endgame: €2.806M 3rd Wend TLK: €2.783M #5: HP 8: €2.658M 4th Wend TLK: €2.580M #6: HP 6: €2.538M * So without Endgame TLK's 2nd weekend would have been above the previous OWend record. Don't want to get too crazy but considering it's at 20.131M after fourth weekend of €2.580M and Titanic has €25.619M, I'd say TLK has solid chance at topping Titanic and becoming the highest grossing movie ever. Just a little extra information the original version is #10 in the list, so TLK will be twice in the top 10. In Norway TLK is doing good but nothing out of this world crazy, none the less it's only 7k admission behind Endgame (511k vs 518k) after a 37k 4th weekend so it will top Endgame for #1 off the year in admissions soon and I think by the end of its run it has a chance of topping Endgame in $ too. In Finland the run is good but it won't top Endgame in and or $. In Germany its doing way better than I though after having an Owend that wasn't even in the top 100 all time and an OWend 44.9% below Endgame (with the 5-day OWend 47% below Endgame) it will come within 10% of the final total of Endgame (5.1M) so 4.6M with I'd say a 99% chance and a 50% to top Endgame in admissions; in $ I right now would say TLK has a 1% chance to do that. It's at 3.85M after a 410k 4th weekend. So after next weekend it should be past 4.3M (215k weekdays and a 235k 5th weekend would be enough for that). Also before the OWend and during the OWend I thought a final of around 3.5M would be likely ($35M) now it looks like it might do 5M and $53M. To beat Endgame in $ it would probably need 6M admissions. Edited August 12, 2019 by Taruseth 4 3
