filmlover
Is it confirmed that this is supposed to be one long shot like Birdman or is it like Gravity where it's a rather limited number of shots?

It's edited to look like one long shot.

And did you have to so obviously swipe the main plot from "Saving Private Ryan". I freely admit I am a fussbudget and a nitpicker when it comes to films dealing with Miliatary History. And from the general look of the film, "Wonder Woman" might have had much more of a grasp of what The Western Front in World war One looked like... I don't think Kubrick's "Paths Of Glory" has much to worry about when it comes as being dethroned as the best film about the Western Front in WW1, As great as it is - All Quiet On The Western Front says hi.

lorddemaxus
I mean Nolan didn't create war movies or anything but Mendes really seems like a Nolan wannabe. He got Hoytema and Smith for Spectre too right after Interstellar released. I wonder how many people are gonna think this is legit a sequel to Dunkirk? Chucky
I was almost an extra for this, until I saw the long hours, potential rain and early starts. They were filming close to where I live about half a year ago

Valonqar
Footage looks great but that actor who looks like POTA is really annoying. They couldn't cast someone with less distracting face?
CoolioD1
at the cinema weirdly i keep seeing the "we did this all in one shot!" featurette instead of the trailer for this. i guess they think that gimmick is a better way to sell the film but probably the number of people who actually care it's supposed to look like one shot is limited.

Alfonso is the best for the 1 shot scenes imo. Children of men was such a well made film that no-one seems to have watched
