I can't think of a worse idea then a dark take on Ghostbusters. It's a comedy franchise, dammit,though it does have a few dark elements.

Ever watched The Real Ghostbusters? There were some dark episodes, though still kept the spirit of the movie

I'm actually truly enjoying that IT/ST vibe. 

 

Still think it will tank, although. Something like $80m/$50m/$130m WW wouldn't surprise me.

The trailer thinks more people care about it than is actually the case. They're going for a Jurassic World vibe...

I liked the trailer.  Nice touch with Egon being the grandfather which is why all the stuff is there.

 

Seems like it could be a good mix of comedy and "serious" which it should be.

 

I'm hopeful but even though the trailer is ok, it still really doesn't show all that much either.

This was actually the most boring trailer I've seen all week. I have a feeling this will be worse than the last film.
