Tbh the comparison in end total might be decent. I could see CM end up with around $420m it needs a 2.69 multi or better to beat wonderwoman and 2.55 to beat GG2.
charlie Jatinder
BaTB did 5.6x 2nd weekend of $90mn. Captain Marvel, if manage $68mn, that would be around $380mn, However, that should bode to $380-390mn IMO. Anything above $70mn for beating WW. Only thing is that there is no way that CM drops only 43 % on its second weekend.

Menor the Destroyer
Hopefully the number goes up to ~9.5. I wonder if Tuesday is more PS heavy than other weekdays as the Monday early estimate was significantly lower while the Tuesday early estimate was actually higher than final. Valonqar
yeah, 500k means a lot because % matters more than than dollar number. if a movie's increasing by so-and-so % that's always great so, no, 500K, is not insignificant.

raulbalarezo
The superhero tentpole starring Brie Larson, which crossed $500 million in ticket sales worldwide in under a week, will easily dominate domestic box office charts again. Written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel” could generate another $70 million to $85 million in its sophomore What a wild range
