For example, horror movies often do not do as well here as in the US. And if you look through the past few weeks (especially the last 2) you can see Avengers' amazing holds (other than its 2nd weekend drop). It's a very loose comparison, but you can look at it with 1M here being roughly equivalent to 100M DOM. Sometimes its a decent comp (you get movies like The Hustle open to 15M roughly, and Poms to 5M roughly But then you get massive overperformers like JW3 just opened to 95M and Avengers did like 450+) but it's an easy way to look at the numbers and pick out any over/underperformers. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
