charlie Jatinder
We have normally $3 ticket in multiplexes. The IMAX range from $6-$20. I do think $3 is still expensive, as $10 for a State's person is less than hourly wage rate. $3 in India is more like 3 hours of work for a person earning mid level salary. While there are people in lower end getting $3 for full day. Edited July 25, 2019 by Jat-One

Does every film need to be impactful or influential? Can they not just be a good time at the movies? I have yet to even see TLK but these "soulless" takes are beyond trite now and one of the reasons I'm glad it's pulling big numbers. Exactly, these soulless jabs at it are moronic to say the least. They did rushed key moments for some reason which resulted in lesser impact of scenes then what it would have, but even after that, calling it soulless is just ridiculous. Most of the hate is coming from the fact that it is a remake and Disney isn't doing so called original or creative stuff. Which is fine but judging an individual movie over what it's studio is doing? It's BO is answering all these critics & soulless merchants.

TwoMisfits
Our cheap Tuesday is $5.25. Our cheap 1st matinee is now $7 (makes the Tuesday showings better). Regular matinees are $12-14. Evening showings are $16-$18. 3d/Imax are $20-21. And now you know why Tuesdays are getting so big...it used to be Tuesday and the 1st matinees were the same price...no longer...

One person's rip off would be another person's bargain. I can't remember the last time I've paid $10 for a ticket. The lowest around me is almost $13 for a matinee (only the first show of the day). No discount Tues. 1

a2k
Disney Pre-summer : Dumbo, CM and AEG did 1400 dom combined. Summer : TLK, Aladdin and TS4 will do about 1400 (600 + 360 + 440) Post-summer : Malef2, Frozen2 and SW9 could also do 1400 more or less. JimiQ
Yeah, prices we have cheap mondays for $6, regular $7-$8, club card gives $1 discount and costs $5 yearly. Twice a year we have cheap sunday for $2.5. I don’t go to imax, but 3D imax for Infinity war was something like $12. Students have $1 discount (stackable with card, so on mondays they go as low as $4) 2
