I wish I gave a shit about Sonic since it's shaping into a fun run to follow. A much needed W for Paramount

Don't think the movie really deserves to make so much money but I'm just imagining that all the profit is being used to finance the new Scorsese.

@MCKillswitch123 Shocking news: NOS Cinemas and Universal have reached a deal and Invisible Man will play in NOS Cinemas. But this mess doesn't come without consequences: this will be the last Universal movie released by NOS Audiovisuais. Cinema rights now belong to Cinemundo while PRIS grabbed the homevideo rights. Cinemundo will start with Trolls on April 23, while PRIS kicks off with Abominable and Downtow Abbey on March 5.

400 mil (2x BoP) on a probably 150 mil budget isn't very good though.

Budget will probably be more than that.

Lots of Vfx and big cgi action sequences in the movie.

The budget will be closer to first movie.

Gotta admit, I'm excited to see Marty go from Taxi Driver to Crazy Taxi

And you expected $450M worldwide for Jumanji3, does it mean that it is now the hit of the century? Pikachu did better than any video game movie ever in the US, so it is extremely strange to try and make it look like a failure just because Sonic is doing amazing. This level of analysis is why the Franchise War should still be open, because that is where it belongs.

I expected 450 after China. 650 after ow in USA. Legs were impressive. Sonic is doing amazing. Pikachu was not amazing. It was merely ok
