IMAX have agreed to show this film....

Even the bad reviews said the visuals were good, but will people really splash out for IMAX on this kind of drama?

Even airlines are clowning on *that* Harry Styles interview:

The Batman is officially Warner's best-received movie this year, but this and mediocre Elvis are the ones being pushed for the Oscars (TB is better than Dune too, the latter being the one who took its original October release date). Tragic.

The Batman deserves to receive a large number of nominations for the technical awards as well for Score, Cinematography and Editing (if you don’t consider them technical). Even though TGM will likely sweep those categories, TB still deserves the recognition as it is a well-made film.

One of this film's crew member liked a tweet dragging Florence Pugh for cutting off the standing ovation early by leaving.

who cares. I'm glad she left early and the standing ovation ended. what a stupid thing to be mad about.

Taking place on Sept. 19, the fan-centered event will feature a first-look at the movie four days ahead of its wide release, as well as a Q&A with Wilde and stars Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Kate Berlant, Asif Ali and Douglas Smith. The Q&A will be held live at New York City’s AMC Lincoln Square Imax Theatre and will be livestreamed to over 100 additional participating Imax theaters across North America.

No Chris Pine, either, LMAO... I guess they told the studio that if they took part, they'd be brutally honest with their answers and WB was like, "Never mind..."

Miss Flo finally did post photos from the Venice premiere to her Instagram and one of the group shots did include Wilde. The caption failed to mention her director by name, just a generic reference to the cast and crew. Florence did single out Chris for praise and also shared a shot of herself hugging Gemma on the red carpet.

Will anyone get to ask Wilde why she thinks Pugh has done zilch to dispell the feud speculation? IMO she's kind of reveling in it. I wouldn’t have expected such shady diva antics from her before now. The DWD promo tour has been an amazing pop culture moment, but I can't say Pugh is exhibiting the height of professionalism here.

Every year we see a number of Oscar bits films get slammed by the critics and then vanish; some kind of films can survive no matter what the critics say,the prestige Oscar Bait Films cannot.

What makes this film unusual is all the publcity it is getting.

All the drama!

But it’s everywhere. Constantly.

Is all press good press? Especially when most of it is costing WB absolutely nothing lol.

We’ll see in a few weeks at the box office.

Not if you were a film designed to be an Oscar contender..which this clearly was.

I wonder will drama around it push it to 20+ million opening or will this "bomb" with 10-12 million?

This kind of film is not sold by on stage antics.

The bad reviews have killed it, given the knid of film it is and the audeince it was aiming for.

Dramatics aside, just another Busted Oscar bait film.
