His meltdown over Spider-Man not getting a PGA nom was amazing this past week

No idea why he was so in the tank for it, but it was crazy.

And before this not long ago, he embarrassed himself defending Gr#c# while posting fake stuff. There is a reason neither critics nor "film twitter" like him.

He makes it hard for us to take him seriously, so he can be forever pressed over !!film twitter!!! lol his fault.

Anyways, that tweet is a set up and if fanboys start echoing his comments they won't be ready for a rude awakening.
Chinatown lmao, they wishes pls😂

There is absolutely no way in hell Marvel gets a Best Picture nomination ever again. Black Panther got it because of its social and political relevance, but unless they make a gritty Magneto origin movie set in the Holocaust, no more golden statues for Feige.

And that's fine. These movies are still important regardless of what old people think. Relax, and enjoy Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, only in theaters May 6.

Magneto's not the only socially relevant Marvel character. The entire X-Men line right now with the Krakoa era has some of the best superhero stories ever written, and with a voting body that keeps getting younger members every year, who are more open to embracing genre fare with strong sociopolitical messages, anything is possible. Feige is taking his time with the mutants in the MCU because he knows there was a reason they overshadowed Avengers for so long in terms of popularity, so he wants to get them perfectly right unlike Fox.

Also, Wakanda Forever and the Sam Wilson Cap movie still have a chance for BP noms.

Yeeeaaa that doesn’t sound like a film that’s going to set the box office on fire (relatively speaking, of course). It might be great but I can see it letting down a lot of people based on the direction the trailers seem to indicate. Still thinking something like $140-160M with 2.6-2.8 legs.

I'm seeing this get mocked quite a bit on my twitter feed, but hey - publicity is publicity

Dig that The Patz always tends to have original thoughts and opinions that aren't faux edgy or offensive.

Wow super shocked that some people have super aggressively negative takes on TFatW without any explanation...

It's poorly written, ham-fisted, politically confused and falls insanely flat anytime it tried to tackle social commentary. Really clicks into place when you find out it had a predominantly white writer's room. Show looks especially bad considering it came out more than a year after Watchmen.
