To be fair, Omicron already have some sub-variants even more easy to spread and it's growing fast in countries where the peak already passed.

But still, at this point what they expect? This will never end, people refuse to vaccine and take precautions, they just have to accept their movies will be released in this environment, and for big movies seems like audience doesn't care going to a theater so whatever, just enjoy the whole month without competition.

The silence subvariant...🤣

Always the way with American films/how they're judged by the MPA and even other ratings boards...Haha:  "Incredibly strong violence" gets through a PG-13, but "mild sex/nudity" really causes a cringe....

Yeah, Ra's Al Ghul has never been really faithfully adapted to the screen, Lazarus Pit and all

But ARROW and GOTHAM say Hello!  😁

frustrated season 3 GIF by DC Comics

revive fox tv GIF by Gotham

But agreed -- thought Nolan got lost up his own "realism" by not resurrecting Liam Neeson in the third movie -- it should have been done for real.

Budget is supposedly only 100M, so WB is about to make bank

I find that...impossible to believe in this day and age. Thats the same cost as BATMAN FOREVER in 1995. There was a $170m figure elsewhere which is more believable - though its still cheap by superhero standards - TDKR was $250m 10 years ago.

Venom Carnage had only a $110 mil budget, its definitely doable especially since batman isn't fighting some cg monster and shooting lasers/running at super speed, etc

want that movie like 15 minutes long?

Wouldn't be the end of the world if it got a 15 in the UK as well as Ireland. Both Venom movies, Suicide Squad and Joker all made bank with a 15 rating.

Side note, I'm starting to get bombarded by product tie ins for this, seen 3 in the last 2 days as well as billboards and bus ads.

I'm really excited to see the UK numbers for this. It's insane to see TDK with $90 million in 2008 and TDKR with the same number in 2012. Batman is the king there.

And the fact that Lego Batman grossed $35 million, while movies like Wonder Woman and Aquaman did less than $30 million is wild.

Quote

DC Movies (UK):

#1 The Dark Knight Rises (2012) -- $90.3 million

#2 The Dark Knight (2008) -- $89.2 million

#3 Joker (2019) -- $72.6 million

#4 Batman v Superman (2016) -- $53.1 million

#5 Man of Steel (2013) -- $46.2 million
