I was gonna say it looked like a pretty good day until I realized I missed yesterday's update.  I guess two more normal days instead.  With Black Phone and Elvis going on sale in the next couple days, only a small window where this is the sole presale focus. Maybe today will be a bigger day.

Weirdly the 3 comps you are using over indexed heavily in Canada.

SC did 11% in CAN, NTTD 15%+, Dune 12%.

JWD will likely be around 7%.

Elvis didn't cost 200million. Anne Thompson from Indiewire said its about 150 total for Warner Bros (which is including marketing budget) so probably about 100million budget (which was likely inflated with COVID production issues)

I mentioned this in the Elvis thread but the film had a lot of tax incentives which likely brought the budget down a bit.

Don’t believe this has been mentioned yet, but Lightyear is gonna have Early Access showings on June 15th. Seeing Wed 6pm (or a little later) locally.  Called “Lightyear Early Access Screening: The Andy Expereince”.

@Inceptionzq @katnisscinnaplex @Eric Belcher

(Haven’t seen anything on Tue or earlier yet)

So judging from my theaters the average of F9 and Angel Has Fallen would have been the best comp for TG: M. If/when part 3 is announced, I'm prepared ;).

Very briefly today:

Crimes of the Future had today 116 sold tickets for Thursday in 4 theaters
and 56 sold tickets for Friday, also in 4 theaters.

And Watcher had today 13 sold tickets for Thursday and 16 sold tickets for Friday with showtimes in only 2 of my 7 theaters.

Comps for both movies, all counted on Monday: The Forever Purge (1.3M from previews) had for Thursday 104 sold tickets,

Old (16.9M OW) had for Friday 150 sold tickets,

Antlers (4.3M OW) had for Friday 43 sold tickets,

Malignant (5.4M OW) had for Friday 100 sold tickets

and The Night House (2.9M OW) had for Friday 24 sold tickets.

So far quite good Thursday presales for Crimes of the Future but the Friday number could be better.

Thanks for these. Do you have any for Jurassic World Dominion and The Black Phone?
