Any prediction on what will be this year's Lightyear? Basically a movie that is being vastly overpredicted? It's crazy now looking at the predictions for that movie and seeing how things turned out. I'd say there's bound to be at least one crazy disappointment this year as well.

I'd say Barbie, Dune 2, Indiana Jones 5, and The Little Mermaid. 99% definitely not flops to the extent of Lightyear but something that is vastly overpredicted.

Barbie is way overpredicted. Legit seen people think it will do 600M+. Also think Ant-Man 3 is overpredicted by some but that´s an MCU movie so it at least have some merit. Barbie hype is the definition of echo chamber. Will do 350M at most.

Because, the DCUE is basically canceled and a lot of people are not going to want to support a film staring a criminal psychopath. most people in my group of friends will not watch this movie when it comes out simply for that reason. I'm not even sure I will tbh. and I watch every superhero film in theaters.

Most of the general audience probably has no idea about Ezra, or about the DCEU being cancelled. And considering how confident DC is in it (super bowl tv spot, positive early screenings), there's like a 1% chance it doesn't hit $100M

I think you’re are seriously overestimating how much the general public will care about that. Maybe the movie will underperform, but making less than $100 million? Even Black Adam managed to pass that with relative ease, and you’re telling me a movie with two Batmen won’t?

I think it could. But honestly it could go the other way and make $300m I'm not sure.
