I'm pretty sure @Purple Minion won.

He gave a dollar amount that we converted at ¥108/USD.

That converts to about ¥7.77 billion. Zootopia's current total is ¥7.56 billion. This was the lowest entry, I think.

Any updates on Star Wars in Japan, Celestial? Thx:)

Star Wars finished its run with a great Y11.58 billion or $96 million with 7.45 million in admissions (admissions wise, it was pretty 'measly' compared to the other top 20 films).  Exchange rates were terrible during its release and had it been released a few months later, it would have been guaranteed a $100+ million run USD wise. However, it ranks #17 on the all-time chart according to Corpse and if memory serves me correct, is the second highest grossing Star Wars film behind The Phantom Menace.

I think I'll try to compile a list of other Disney related releases such as a list for Star Wars and also their live action remakes since Jungle Book will be released soon and of course Rogue One in the near future.

I just got done compiling lists for Disney action flicks/remakes and included Oz, Pirates series, Alice series, Cinderella, and Maleficent (I think I should include Tomorrowland and John Carter xD) and made a compilation for One Piece and Yo-Kai as well.  Any other films I should include?  I think I'll do a list for Star Wars... but that seems a little questionable considering the films were released during the '70s to '90's.  Maybe I'll just ask Corpse and he'll have the data.  I swear I saw it somewhere before.  Also am thinking of doing an Illumination brand list considering how strong the Despicable Me and Minions series are!  Minions even beat Inside Out by more than Y1 billion! :jeb!:

Presales for Saturday, July 16th

http://mimorin2014.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-12442.html
*1 39839 202132 *812 146 ****** HiGH&LOW THE MOVIE
*2 38800 465271 1602 153 ****** ファインディング・ドリー (Finding Dory)
*3 21655 197934 *843 149 ****** ポケモン・ザ・ムービー XY&Z 2016 (Pokemon 2016)

#1 is a movie driven by Pop stars, so presales are going to be a bigger part of it.

For comparison, Indpendence Day 2 sold 24,255 tickets at this time last Saturday.

Just a guess, but based on ID2's opening of ¥570m, I think a two-day total of ¥900m will be reasonable for Finding Dory.
